Reflect our faith – Our values come from the teachings of Jesus and express what we believe is most important.

Build unity – Shared values create a strong, supportive community with a common purpose.

Show our witness – They demonstrate to others what we stand for and how we seek to make a difference.

Support our mission – Our values help us make decisions and stay faithful to what God has called us to do.

Biblical Truth

At Church Alive, we hold that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, serving as our ultimate authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We believe that God's truth never changes, it’s authoritative, and relevant today. This conviction guides our teachings, actions, and community life, ensuring that we live in alignment with God's will and purpose.

Love

Love is central to everything we do at Church Alive. Following Jesus' command to love God and others (Matthew 22:37-39), we strive to reflect God’s character through compassionate, kind, and diverse intentional relationships. Love drives our actions and mission, creating a community where everyone is valued and supported.

Worship

Worship is at the core of who we are at Church Alive. We believe that God is worthy of our praise, and through worship, we express our love, reverence, and gratitude. Whether through music, prayer, or daily living, worship is an act of surrender and devotion to God. It connects us to His presence and strengthens our faith, both individually and as a community. Worship is not just an event—it’s a lifestyle that reflects our deep relationship with God.

Acceptance

At Church Alive, we believe in creating a welcoming environment where everyone is valued and loved, just as they are. We follow Jesus’ example of embracing people from all walks of life, offering grace and understanding. Acceptance means building a community where differences are respected, and all are invited to grow in faith without judgment. It’s through acceptance that we create space for healing, transformation, and authentic relationships.

Multicultural

At Church Alive, we celebrate the beauty of diversity and believe that God’s kingdom is made up of people from every nation, culture, and background. We are committed to fostering a multicultural community where all are welcomed and valued. By embracing different cultures, we reflect the inclusivity of the gospel and demonstrate the unity that comes through Christ. Our diversity enriches our faith, broadens our perspectives, and strengthens our mission to share God’s love with the world.

Multigenerational

At Church Alive, we value the richness that comes from a multigenerational community. We believe that all generations—young and old—have something unique to offer. By fostering relationships across ages, we create a space where wisdom and energy meet, and where each generation can learn from and support one another. This unity strengthens our faith, encourages mentorship, and reflects the body of Christ, where every person has a vital role to play in God’s kingdom.

Family

At Church Alive, we believe that family is the foundation of a strong, vibrant community. Whether biological or spiritual, we are committed to building a family where love, support, and care are at the core. We believe that families are called to grow together in faith, encourage one another, and walk alongside each other through life’s challenges. By fostering a family atmosphere, we create a space where everyone can belong, thrive, and experience God’s love in a tangible way.

Our Beliefs

  • The Trinity

At Church Alive, we believe in the doctrine of the Trinity: that God exists as one essence in three distinct persons—God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This foundational belief is rooted in Scripture, such as Matthew 28:19, where Jesus commissions His disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    Love Worth Finding Ministries

While the term "Trinity" is not explicitly used in the Bible, the concept is evident throughout both the Old and New Testaments. For instance, Genesis 1:26 uses plural pronouns when God says, "Let us make man in our image," suggesting a multi-personal nature of God. Additionally, passages like 2 Corinthians 13:14 and John 14:16-17 highlight the distinct roles and unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We affirm that each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, yet distinct in personhood. This mystery of faith underscores the relational and dynamic nature of God, inviting us into deeper communion with Him and one another.

    Desiring God

Understanding the Trinity enriches our worship, informs our theology, and shapes our community life. It reminds us that God is relational at His core, and as His image-bearers, we are called to live in loving relationship with Him and each other.

  • The Bible

At Church Alive, we believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. Comprising 66 books written by over 40 authors across centuries, it is divinely inspired and serves as our ultimate guide for faith and living. Scripture reveals God's character, His plan for humanity, and the path to salvation through Jesus Christ. We affirm that the Bible is infallible and relevant, offering timeless truths that shape our beliefs, actions, and community life.

  • Jesus

At Church Alive, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of humanity, and the central figure of our faith. He is both fully divine and fully human, embodying God's love and truth in a way that we can understand and relate to.

Jesus lived a sinless life, taught about God's Kingdom, performed miracles, and offered radical love and forgiveness. He was crucified, died for the sins of the world, and was resurrected, conquering death and offering eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16). His resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith, proving His divinity and providing hope for all believers.

    Sound Of Heaven

We believe in Jesus because He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Through Him, we find forgiveness, purpose, and a restored relationship with God. His life and teachings continue to inspire and transform lives, guiding us to live with love, compassion, and bold faith.

  • Salvation

At Church Alive, we believe that salvation is God's gift of rescue from sin and its consequences, offering us eternal life and restored relationship with Him. This gift is made possible through Jesus Christ—His sinless life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection.

Salvation is not earned by good deeds but received by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9). It involves recognizing our need for forgiveness, repenting of our sins, and trusting Jesus as our Savior and Lord. This faith leads to transformation by the Holy Spirit, empowering us to live in alignment with God's will and purpose.

Salvation is both a present reality and a future hope. It brings peace and purpose today and assures us of eternal life with God. We invite you to experience this life-changing gift through faith in Jesus Christ.

  • Baptism

At Church Alive, we believe baptism is a significant step in the journey of faith. It is an outward expression of an inward transformation, symbolizing the believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As described in Romans 6:4, "We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."

    Christianity

Baptism is an act of obedience to Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19–20, where He instructs His followers to baptize new disciples. It serves as a public declaration of faith, marking the believer's initiation into the Christian community. While baptism itself does not save, it is a vital step in the process of salvation, representing the believer's commitment to follow Christ and live according to His teachings.

At Church Alive, we practice baptism by immersion, reflecting the biblical model and symbolizing the believer's identification with Christ's death and resurrection. We invite all who have made a personal decision to follow Jesus to take this step of obedience and publicly declare their faith through baptism.

  • Holy Spirit

At Church Alive, we believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is fully divine, co-equal with the Father and the Son, and plays a vital role in the life of every believer.

    Who Is the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is God's presence in the world today. In the Old Testament, God's Spirit empowered individuals for specific tasks. In the New Testament, Jesus promised the coming of the Holy Spirit to dwell within believers, guiding, teaching, and empowering them for godly living and service.

Why Is the Holy Spirit Important?

The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, draws us to Jesus, and seals our salvation. He empowers us to live out our faith, producing in us the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23). The Holy Spirit also bestows spiritual gifts upon believers to build up the church and advance God's kingdom.

    Our Response

At Church Alive, we invite the Holy Spirit to move freely in our lives and gatherings. We seek to be sensitive to His leading, allowing Him to transform us and equip us for the work God has called us to. Through the Holy Spirit, we experience a deeper relationship with God and a more vibrant, effective witness to the world.

  • The Church

At Church Alive, we believe the Church is not just a building—it is the body of Christ, made up of all believers who have been united through faith in Jesus Christ. The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the gospel, and serve others. As the hands and feet of Jesus, we are called to love, encourage, and support one another while growing together in faith.

The Church is a community where people can find belonging, healing, and spiritual growth. We believe that each member has a unique role to play in fulfilling the mission of spreading God’s love and advancing His Kingdom on earth. The Church is a place of worship, fellowship, teaching, and service—equipping believers to live out their faith in the world.

At Church Alive, we are passionate about being a vibrant, welcoming community where everyone can experience the love of God and the power of the gospel.

  • Prayer

At Church Alive, we believe that prayer is our direct communication with God. It is an essential part of our relationship with Him, where we can express our hearts, seek His guidance, and experience His presence. Prayer is not just a ritual but a conversation—whether it’s in gratitude, confession, petition, or intercession.

We believe that through prayer, we align ourselves with God's will, find peace, and grow in intimacy with Him. Jesus modeled a life of prayer and encouraged His followers to pray regularly, knowing that it is a powerful tool for transformation and spiritual growth. Prayer strengthens our faith, connects us as a community, and empowers us to fulfill the calling God has placed on our lives.

At Church Alive, we value prayer as a vital part of our worship, and we invite everyone to join us in seeking God’s will and experiencing His power through prayer.
